'Drink Pink' - Local Bars Host Pink Cocktails Especially for Clerkenwell Design Week - 24-26th May

A selection of the district's best bars host special pink cocktails in celebration of Clerkenwell Design Week 2022

For the return of Clerkenwell Design Week to London across the 24th - 26th May, some of the best bars in the district are mixing up 'Clerkenwell pink' cocktails in celebration of this year's event. Bourne & Hollingsworth, The Gunmakers, Oriole Bar, The Piano Works and YOTEL London City have each created a special pink cocktail, with offers available (one for free!) across the week of CDW for visitors to the event.

Clerkenwell Design Week returns to EC1 for its eleventh edition across the 24th – 26th May, with more exhibitors, showrooms, and venues than ever before. CDW is the UK’s leading independent design festival, providing a welcome platform for brands to showcase their products and for the 140+ showrooms to open their doors to new audiences.

Bourne & Hollingsworth - Rhubarbarella

The well-loved modern all-day British brasserie and bar, Bourne & Hollingsworth, will offer their 'Rhubarbarella', featuring Monkey 47 gin and Peychaud's aperitivo matched with homemade vanilla & pink peppercorn liqueur and fresh lemon. Each served with rhubarb and orange jam.

The Gunmakers - Paloma

The Gunmakers, a hidden gem on the backstreets of Clerkenwell, are serving up their pink 'Paloma'. A cocktail featuring El Tequileño blanco, lime, Two Keys pink grapefruit and hibiscus salt.

YOTEL London City Komyuniti Bar - 'PG&T' A.K.A. Pink Gin & Tonic

YOTEL London City’s stylish bar Komyuniti are giving guests the perfect excuse to make a night of it with a special serve for Clerkenwell Design Week - discounted to only £6 for the duration of the festival. With exquisite floral notes, sweet pomegranate and ripe raspberries the ‘PG&T’, aka Pink Gin & Tonic, is fruity and sweet - a perfect summer tipple. With all day food offerings such as BBQ Crispy Chicken Bao and Chicken Florentine Flatbread, or bar bites like Thai Spice King Prawn Skewers or Paprika Fries, Komyuniti is a perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day in the city. The £6 ‘PG&T’ special promotion is available 21 - 23 May, and walk-ins welcome at Komyuniti. 

Oriole Bar - Lillet Rosé Spritz 

Subterranean cocktail bar in Smithfield Market, Oriole Bar, will be creating their 'Lillet Rosé Spritz' especially for the week of CDW. The special pink Spritz will feature Lillet Rose, fermented gariguette, strawberry liqueur and anise blossom soda.

The Piano Works Farringdon - P!nk

Live music venue located in a listed Victorian basement in Farringdon, The Piano Works Farringdon are mixing a new cocktail for CDW, especially called 'P!nk', using coconut rum, tequila rose, lanique, lemon, sugar, lychee puree and lychee juice. Each served with a pinch of salt. The Piano Works will be offering one cocktail for free per guest that registers during the week.
